Medicine is a family passion in the Luongo household, particularly on the maternal side. It is therefore not surprising that Giuseppe Luongo decided to enroll in the Medical and Surgery degree program after completing his scientific studies in high school. His passion for the subject allowed him to graduate within the six years with top marks and honors. His extensive experience as an internal student from the early years in general surgery allowed him to deepen his connection with this discipline, leading him to achieve two subsequent specializations in Maxillofacial Surgery and Odontostomatology, both also with top marks and honors.

Frequent experiences abroad, particularly in Sweden and the United States, persuaded him that to offer patients the best that modern science has to offer, it is necessary to bring together a perfectly coordinated pool of professionals, each an expert in their own specialty.

With this work philosophy, he founded one of the first multi-specialty dental clinics in Rome, continuing to focus mainly on oro-maxillofacial surgery and implantology. Particularly, by regularly attending the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, where modern implantology was developed, he had the opportunity to deepen his knowledge of implant rehabilitation techniques to the highest levels, becoming one of the leading experts in this field over the years.

His daughter Fabrizia decided to follow the same path by enrolling directly in the Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics degree program, graduating with top marks and honors in 2011. She quickly developed a particular fondness for the diagnosis and therapy of periodontal tissues, a passion that allowed her to pursue a postgraduate specialization at the prestigious UCLA University in Los Angeles.

Upon returning to Italy, she became a full-fledged member of the workgroup at the Rome and Verona clinics, where she focuses on periodontology and the application of the latest digital technologies in the diagnostic and therapeutic processes of this discipline. As an international speaker on major scientific circuits, she successfully combines clinical practice and research, and very recently, the role of a mother.

The workgroup is completed by many other professionals in clinical, supportive, and administrative roles, making the clinic today one of the reference centers for specialist excellence in dentistry. The quality of therapies is always accompanied by constant updates of techniques, technologies, and materials, without neglecting ecological and holistic aspects, with the patient always at the center of therapeutic choices.
